Express Bank gets 46% rise in assets year-on-year

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1 2013, assets of Express Bank made AZN 250.737 mln (+45.5%).

During the reporting period, loan portfolio of the bank grew by 29.1% to AZN 105.092 mln, consumer loans made AZN 26.635 mln by rising 62.2%. Overdue credits soared 88.3% to AZN 1.879 mln. Share of overdue credits in total loan portfolio rose 0.6% to 1.8%.

Deposit portfolio doubled to AZN 145.481 mln (+43.2%).

Total capital rose 25.4% to AZN 99.736 mln as well as authorized capital jumped 31.1% to AZN 87.407 mln.

Number of total customers increased by 16.3% to 48,440, as well as individuals rose 16.0% to 48,049, legal entities soared 67.9% to 361. Number of plastic cards stood at 27.441 as of January 1 2013, down 6.7% compared to last year. Debit cards decreased by 8.5% to 26,540, credit cards grew by 2.2 times to 901.

At present time, the bank operates 14 branches, 60 ATMs, 277 POS-terminals and 326 employees across the country.
