Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan can accelerate the process of entering the WTO, head of IMF mission on Azerbaijan Raja Almarzogi said, APA reports.
To him, deep structure reforms assume decisive importance for development of non-oil economy having private sector with competitiveness. ‘Application of new Code of Customs, finishing WTO membership and limitation of obstacles for competition will play main role in preparation of new economic growth rate strategy’.
He also added that Azerbaijani government should distribute state investments between short, medium and long-term. This step will increase the interest of private sector more.
IMF official noted that Azerbaijan can accelerate the process of entering the WTO.
