Azerbaijan to apply minimum limit for salaries fund on several spheres

Baku. Ali Ahmedov – APA-Economics. State Social Protection Fund and Ministry of Economic Development started researches in connection with amendments in the law on Social Insurance, said the SSPF Chairman Salim Muslumov.

The Ministry of Taxes and Labor Inspectorate have officially registered the information on labor contract of near 190,000 employees after a task of the head of the state Ilham Aliyev at the meeting in the Cabinet of Ministers.

But it’s hard to manage the processes by these methods – it needs economic method for a way out of a situation. Fund’s chairman reminded his proposal on amendment in the law on Social Insurance and noted that minimums had to be defined for salaries fund in several spheres of economy: “We consider that this will allow us intensifying registration processes and taking successful steps on legalization of salaries”.

Along with this, Muslumov considers careful approach important in this issue. According to him, negative factors of this news could be appeared. At present, the SSPF and MED started active researches ion this issue. Besides, employees of the Fund and Ministry were an official journey to Turkey. The negative factor on this news is negative influence of its application on business environment: “This amendment could have 80% positive, 20% negative factor”.

He also did not exclude that this news could be adopted in 2013.
