British Ambassador Peter Bateman: We are proud of our status as single largest foreign direct investor in Azerbaijan

Baku. AnakhanÄ±m Hidayatova – APA-Economics. British Ambassador to Azerbaijan Peter Bateman welcomed the appointment of Charles Henry to the post of trade representative on Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan and Turkmenistan, APA reports quoting the website of the embassy.
‘We are proud of our status as single largest foreign direct investor in Azerbaijan and record of having helped create the growing prosperity that is so very evident in Azerbaijan. It is a relationship that has been of benefit of both countries" , said the ambassador.

To him, Charles Henry knows the region and Azerbaijan very well. The Ambassador said he was also keen to see Azerbaijani companies expand into the UK . " We see this a two - way street and we hope that Azerbaijani companies and institutions such as SOFAZ will take an interest in the UK market as well' - British Ambassador Peter Bateman emphasized.
