VTB-Azerbaijan gets 70% rise in assets

Baku. Vahab Rzayev – APA-Economics. As of January 1, 2012, VTB-Azerbaijan’s assets stood at AZN 86.017 mln, up 70.3% from a year earlier.

Bank says the loan portfolio rose 59.1% to AZN 73.193 mln. Consumer lending made AZN 32.901 mln, up three times from 2012. At the same time, overdue credits dropped 6.1% to AZN 2.112 mln. Share of overdue credits in loan portfolio slipped 2.0 percentage points to 2.9%.

Deposit portfolio advanced 2.6 times to AZN 5.637 mln. Personal savings were equal to AZN 4.628 mln, up 2.8 times from previous year.

Total capital slid 0.1% to AZN 15.590 mln, including authorized capital remained unchanged at AZN 23.815 mln.

Number of clients rose 32.4% to 5,107, as well as individuals soared 34.2% to 4,809, legal entities – 9.2% to 298.

For the present, the bank operates 2 branches, 3 ATMs and 2 POS-terminals across the country. Number of credit cards is 359. Bank has 180 employees.
