Azerbaijan will use foreign experience in preparing statistical data

The presentations and speeches delivered at the 3rd International Statistics Forum held in Baku were useful, Rauf Salimov, Deputy Chairman of the State Statistical Committee told journalists, APA-Economics reports.

He noted that this information, as well as sharing country experiences on reforms implemented related to innovation, is very useful for Azerbaijan in the upcoming issues, including the preparation of statistics on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs):“We have obtained the materials and will study the experiences of other countries in detail. Representatives from 10 international organizations participated here, including the Director of the Statistical Division of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and the Head of the World Bank's International Comparison Program. The methodological materials they prepared were also presented, and these materials will be used in the further development of statistics in Azerbaijan.”
