Azer-Turk Bank gets 15% rise in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As at October 1, Azer-Turk Bank’s assets stood at AZN 42.032 million, up 15% on last year.
The loan portfolio rose 48.5% to AZN 27.847 million, deposit portfolio increased 18.1% to AZN 27.147million, total capital went up 6.7% to AZN 11.983 million and authorized capital stood at AZN 10 million.
Over the past year, revenue rose 40% to AZN 5.408 million and expenditures increased 34.5% to AZN 3.088 million.
The bank’s profit for January-September rose 48.1% to AZN 2.320 million and net profit went up 48.6% to AZN 1.810 million.
Over this period, investments by the bank grew 7.7% to AZN 280 000 and the bank established 1 branch, 1 exchange office, 1 ATM and 1 POS terminal. It paid AZN 711.380 in tax.
In 1995 AzerTurkBank was established by Turkish T.C.Ziraat Bankasi A.S. (46%), German Ziraat Bank International AG (4%), Azeri Agrarcredit (46%) and Turanbank (4%). The bank operates 2 branches, 3 ATMs, 3 exchange offices and 3 POS terminals across the country.
