Azer-Turk Bank gets 26% growth in consumer lending

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of October 1, 2012, Azer-Turk Bank’s loan portfolio stood at AZN 46.976 mln, up 21% from previous year.
Bank says short-term loans rose 37% to AZN 7.323 mln, long-term loans grew 18.6% to AZN 39.653 mln, consumption loans raised 26% to AZN 21.684 mln, overdue credits grew 47.2% to AZN 3.341 mln, loans given through AMF dropped 7.7% to AZN 0.816 mln.
At the same time, deposit portfolio slipped 13% to AZN 31.045 mln, including term deposits slid 21% to AZN 15.166 mln, demand deposits fell 3.6% to AZN 15.879 mln and population’s deposits soared 8.6% to AZN 15.276 mln.
Remind that, Azer-Turk Bank has been in operation since 1995. The bank operates 4 branches, 7 ATMs and 52 POS-terminals across the country. As of October 1, 2012, bank had 27,511 clients, 2,831 active plastic cards and 130 employees.
