Chartis Azerbaijan gets rise in payments year-on-year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. Chartis Azerbaijan companyâ€™s insurance premium, which collected In January-September, 2012, made AZN 1.334 mln, up 4.4% from year earlier.

Head of Financial Department of the company Elmar Islam says, 55.69% of premiums came from Property insurance against fire and other risks (AZN 743,003), 20.40% - from insurance against common civil liability (AZN 272,077), 12.36% - from Professional liability insurance (AZN 164,900), 4.6% - from Cargo insurance (transport) (AZN 61,615), 1.72% - from insurance against personal accident and diseases (AZN 22,891) and 5.23% - from other insurance types.

The companyâ€™s payments during the same period made near AZN 50,000, up by 5 times from a year earlier.

Profit and loss were not defined precisely due to preparation of urgent data.

Note: Chartis Azerbaijan has been in operation since 1999.
