Zelenskyy did not apologize to Trump
"I do not consider myself guilty before Donald Trump at all. I believe that sometimes we should discuss some issues without the participation of journalists. Our relations with Trump should be higher than the approach of the two Presidents", Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this in an interview with the FOX News TV channel, APA reports.
He emphasized this while answering the question of whether he apologized to US leader, Donald Trump after his meeting with him.
Tensions in US-Ukraine relations
Note that Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who was on a visit to the United States, met with President Donald Trump and Vice President Jay Dee Vance, who was remembered for a verbal argument between the parties. As a result, Volodymyr Zelenskyy left the talks unfinished.
After that, the head of the White House, Donald Trump, assessed this action as disrespect: "Zelenskyy is absolutely not ready for peace," D. Trump said.
Many European leaders supported the similar step of the Ukrainian head of state.
"Thank you America"
Following the heated exchange in the Oval Office with President Donald Trump, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared a post on X:
It comes after Trump ordered the Ukrainians be told to leave, according to a White House official.
