The U.S. has finalized the first stage of the delivery of Javelin anti-tank guided missile complexes to Georgia, said Georgia’s Defense Minister Levan Izoria.
The missile complexes were deployed in a safe place in Georgia, the defense minister said at a meeting with U.S. Ambassador to Georgia Ian Kelly, APA’s Georgia bureau reported.
He noted that in the near future Georgian will gain the necessary knowledge to use these complexes.
The total estimated cost of the military equipment is $75 million.
