Baku – APA. The Turkish Foreign Ministry announced on Friday that one Turkish national was injured after a group of workers from a Turkish NGO were targeted in an attack on Friday afternoon in Mogadishu, Today’s Zaman reported.
A statement released by the Foreign Ministry said a Somali national was also killed in the attack, which was strongly condemned by the ministry. “We condemn this attack and expect its perpetrators are captured and brought before judiciary soon,” the statement said.
“Turkey will continue stand by Somali people in a bid to contribute to restore peace and welfare in Somali,” the ministry added.
