Moscow. Farid Akbarov – APA. Turkey is working to determine who will attend the events to be held in Moscow on the 70th anniversary of the victory in Second World War.
Turkish parliament speaker Cemil Cicek made the remarks during a press conference at TASS agency on Wednesday, APA’s Moscow correspondent reported.
He said they have received a presidential invitation from Moscow, and that assessment on the issue is going on.
“We are considering the invitation. 24 April will mark the 100th anniversary of the victory in Canakkale Battle. Very important persons will join the events we are planning to hold. From Russia, we have invited the president and other officials,” said Cemil Cicek.
The speaker said they hope Russia will participate in the events on the 100th anniversary of the Canakkale victory.
Note that, State Duma chairman Sergei Naryshkin on Tuesday announced he would attend the events dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Canakkale victory.
