The issue surrounding Georgia’s ex president Mikheil Saakashvili was raised during the meeting between the US Vice President and Georgia opposition on Tuesday.
Nika Melia, a chairman of the Political Council of the Single Nationalist Movement party, said that the parties discussed Georgia’s prosecution of its opponents, Georgia Online said on its website.
Melia talked nothing more about the US Vice President’s reaction at the ex president Saakashvili’s issue but noted that her interlocutor was angry at the prosecution of the ex president.
