Baku-APA. Poland's borders will be inspected and controlled at the sign of a possible threat, Polish Prime Minister Ewa Kopacz said Monday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

"We will not be a bad apple of Europe, but we will also not let our interests to be neglected," she added.

Kopacz said Poland would accept as many refugees as it could afford, no more no less.

However, she requested Polish Minister of Internal Affairs Teresa Piotrowska to make an inspection of Poland's eastern, southern and western borders. A detailed report on the matter will be presented during the government's meeting on Tuesday.

Kopacz also presented conditions under which Poland would accept the refugees. After a discussion with Jean-Claude Juncker, the president of the European Commission, Kopacz declared no refugees quotas would be accepted and that refugees should be distinguished from economic immigrants and that border controls should be increased.
