Baku-APA. An ultralight plane with two people on board was reported missing on Tuesday after it did not land after taking off on Monday afternoon from the Boemoen airport near Voss, a city in western Norway, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
All indications were that the plane was supposed to land on Monday night at the airport after a flight which started at 16:00 p.m. local time (1500 GMT), an officer at Voss was quoted by the Norwegian news agency NTB as saying.
One of the two persons on board the missing plane is a co-owner of the aircraft, which belongs to a flying club.
A search and rescue operation was now considered as the plane could have landed in the mountains.
"But, of course, we fear that something worse could have happened," said the officer.
