# 09 April 2014 16:34 (UTC +04:00)

Ukraine issue has been included in this session as “emergency debates”. The draft resolution has been developed by Mailis Reps and Marietta De Purbe-Lundin on the behalf of the Monitoring Committee.

Members of the Monitoring Committee unanimously approved this document both at yesterday and today’s meetings. Amendments and annexes put forward by Russia were not accepted at the meeting, the Committee supported the territorial integrity of Ukraine.

Earlier, head of the Russian Delegation to PACE, Alexei Pushkov, who attended a committee’s meeting, told local journalists that the committee’s members hold biased position on Russia: “Unfortunately, we are face to face with completely politicized position in this issue. I have never faced such a biased position in the history of the organization. This is fully geopolitical approach. All our proposals were received negatively. Except for some technical nuances, our amendments and annexes were not accepted.”

Head of the Azerbaijani Delegation to PACE, Samad Seyidov and MP Ganira Pashayeva will make speeches at the PACE session.
