Istanbul. Mayis Alizade –APA. AK Party-MHP coalition talks end without result. Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu has announced that his Justice and Development (AK) Party's negotiations with the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) have ended without an agreement to form a coalition government.

Davutoglu addressed reporters at a press conference at the AK Party headquarters in Ankara on Monday following negotiations with MHP leader Devlet Bahceli.

It took place at Bahceli's office at the Turkish parliament and lasted for nearly two-and-a-half hours.

Davutoglu said the two leaders discussed the four main conditions of MHP: One is a definitive end to the settlement process launched by the government at the end of 2012 with the terrorist Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) to resolve the country's Kurdish issue. A second condition for the MHP is the re-launch of the corruption investigation into the suspects implicated in graft probes that went public on Dec. 17 and 25, 2013.

The third precondition is a restriction of ErdoÄŸan's use of power to within his constitutional limits, while the fourth is that Articles 1-4 of the Constitution remain unchanged.

Since 2002, the AK Party won three general elections to continue a single-party rule for well over a decade, which ended after the June 7 elections this year produced no majority government.
