Baku-APA. The search for a missing Glasgow teen took a severe turn on Wednesday following the arrest of a man in connection with her murder, APA reports quoting Press TV.
A 21-year-old man arrested overnight in connection with the death of Karen Buckley according to Police Scotland. The murdered teen was reported missing after witnesses said she was seen leaving a nightclub in Glasgow with a man.
The four-day investigation took a drastic turn when human remains were found at a farm, six miles away from where Buckley was last seen.
Members of the Buckley family were informed on the latest revelations but are to yet comment on developments.
The unidentified man who is expected to stand at a private hearing in Glasgow Sheriff Court later this week was questioned and later officially arrested.
The extensive search included search dogs, helicopter crew as well as specialist police divers.
