Baku-APA. A prisoner who had escaped from the Hustad prison in western Norway was arrested by armed police on Saturday afternoon, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The man in his 20s had stolen two cars before he was caught by police at 5:15 p.m. local time (1515 GMT) on Saturday, the Norwegian news agency NTB reported.
Police did not know when the man escaped exactly, saying it happened on Friday night or early Saturday morning. Neither did police have any idea on how he did it.
The man stole a car at Lyngstad, not far from the prison, before he drove into the ditch. Then he stole another car, which was later found in Rensvik in Kristiansund municipality.
