Baku-APA. The German pilots union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) announced Thursday on its Website that pilots of German airline Lufthansa will go on strike this Friday, APA reports quoting XInhua.
The strike will take place at Frankfurt airport between 17:00 and 23:00 local time (1500 GMT to 2100 GMT), involving flights on short and medium-distance.
With this strike, the Cockpit aims to achieve a new collective agreement on transitional payment.
As the Cockpit declared, with a view to achieving unity, they are always ready to avert strikes.
Lufthansa Airlines has been severely affected this year by the largest strikes in the company's history in early April.
