Baku. Turbat Baghirova – APA. The Secretary General of the Organization for Democracy and Economic Development – GUAM Altai Efendiyev met with Polish Ambassador to Ukraine Henryk Litvin.
The parties spoke about the history of Polish-GUAM relations and the activity of the organization, exchanging views on the prospect of cooperation within the framework of GUAM and the GUAM+ format.
The parties agreed on intensifying the mutual activity of GUAM member states and their partners on the situation around the region, especially developing the GUAM transport corridor and increasing efforts on creating Free Trade Zone.
Litvin expressed interest in the development of multilateral and regional formats that will contribute to the stabilization of the situation in the region, economic development of the countries and the enhancement of international cooperation.
