The National Democratic Institute of the United States (NDI) announced the results of a poll carried out in Georgia.
According to the results, 77 percent of the respondents support country’s EU membership and 16 percent are against it, Georgia’s bureau told APA.
53 percent of representatives of ethnic minorities support country’s EU membership, 15 percent of them are opposed to it, and 30 percent found it difficult to answer.
66 percent of persons who expressed their opinions are in favor of Georgia’s NATO membership and 23 percent of them are not.
29 percent of representatives of ethnic minorities support Georgia’s NATO membership, while 29 percent of them do not, and 41 percent refused to answer.
A total of 2,261 respondents participated in the survey.
