"The United States of America should maintain its balanced policy in relation with Turkiye and Greece," said Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut in his interview with TRT Haber TV channel, APA's correspondent in Istanbul reports.
Cavusoglu has noted that it is unacceptable to put forward requirements of Greece in the issue of sale of F-16s to Turkiye: "Does the US set a condition of non-violation of Turkiye's air space when sells weapon to Greece? Turkiye can not give consent to an agreement, which will tie its hands. It is just a requirement of House of Representatives of Congress. A positive response is received from the US leadership in this issue."
