Construction for a plant to produce Türkiye’s unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in Ukraine has begun, Ukraine’s strategic industry minister Oleksandr Kamyshyn said, APA reports citing UNIAN.
“If we talk of “Bayraktar” factory that’s been discussed for a few years, the construction of plant has already begun. Plant’s construction has not only begun in memorandum, but also in practicality”, - the Ukrainian minister said.
This fabric might also produce other things, but it’s impossible to talk about those, Kamyshyn added.
“We mean the production in Ukrainian region. This is the same big plant that had been agreed upon a few years ago. There were some delays. Today this plant’s construction has begun, we have taken real steps”, - minister added.
