Ukrainian Ministry of Agriculture stated on Wednesday that the country expects to have a grain storage capacity deficit of 10-15 million tonnes by the end of autumn, APA reports citing Teletrader.
The country's Intelligence Service also released a 1930 archived appeal by Ukraine to the international community, calling on it not to buy grain that the Soviet forces illegally expropriated from its stores.
Earlier today, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov stated that sanctions against Moscow must be lifted in order for Russian grain to be delivered to international markets, as traders face "a wall of restrictions."
