German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock did not rule out that Berlin could send peacekeepers to Ukraine if a ceasefire was achieved, the DPA news agency said, APA reports citing TASS.
According to the media outlet, Baerbock said at a meeting of NATO foreign ministers in Brussels that German soldiers could be used to ensure peace.
She also believes that along with security guarantees for Ukraine in the form of NATO membership, "international presence aimed at ensuring a ceasefire" could be considered.
The German foreign minister added that Berlin "will strive to support" all efforts aimed at achieving peace.
