NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg announced on Friday that the Western military alliance is working toward creating a new council for collaboration between Ukraine and NATO, APA reports citing Teletrader.
Stoltenberg delivered his remarks at a news conference in Brussels that followed the two-day NATO Defense Ministers meeting. Commenting on Russia's deployment of nuclear weapons in Belarus, Stoltenberg said that NATO is "taking seriously" this action.
The meeting mainly focused on providing further military help to support Ukraine's defenses against Russia's invasion, including donating new batches of ammunition.
