Secretary General of the Council of Europe Marija Pejčinović Burić visited Georgia, APA's local bureau reports.
As part of his visit, Burić met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvilii.
At the joint press conference held after the meeting, it was noted that the parties paid attention to EU-Georgia bilateral relations, reforms implemented in Georgia, and regional challenges against the backdrop of the Russia-Ukraine war.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia Ilia Darchiashvili thanked Secretary General Burić for his strong support for Georgia's democratic reforms.
