The European Union did not react in any way to the arrest of dozens of opposition politicians in Armenia ahead of the parliamentary elections, Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili said during a briefing, APA's local bureau reports.
According to him, the European Union demonstrated double standards by doing so.
The speaker noted that the rule of law and holding those responsible accountable should be equally acceptable in Yerevan, Washington and Tbilisi.
