Norway will allocate NOK 1.2 billion (more than $120 million) in 2026 for the development and procurement of naval drones for Ukraine, APA reports, citing the Norwegian government.
According to the information, the funding will be provided under the Nansen Programme for support to Ukraine.
The document notes that the allocated funds will also cover the production and supply of unmanned maritime vehicles with the participation of Norwegian and Ukrainian industries.
The Norwegian government believes that these projects will contribute to strengthening Ukraine's maritime security capabilities.
