Baku-APA. No country could deal with the threat of terrorism on its own, said Patrick Moon, U.S. Ambassador to Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) on Monday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.

"We have to be well connected in order to triumph over those (terrorists) who are already well connected," said Moon at the opening of a five-day conference over fight against terrorism.

Since the 9/11 terrorist attack in 2001, huge progress has been made in exchange of information over fight against terrorists, said Moon, adding that the United States will continue to assist BiH in its fight against terrorism.

Fahrudin Radoncic, BiH Minister of Security, said BiH will devote itself to preventative actions against terrorism and safeguard the country.

The conference is organized by the Joint Special Operations University (JSOU) and the U.S. Embassy in BiH, attended by officials and experts on security in BiH.

The JSOU, located in Florida, the United States, is the designated agency within U.S. Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) to conduct joint Special Operations Force (SOF) education. It also provides education to military and civilian special operations forces personnel around the world.
