Baku-APA. Visiting British Prime Minister David Cameron told his Libyan counterpart on Thursday that the British government will continue its support for the newly-formed Libyan security institutions, APA reports.
During a meeting here on Thursday with Ali Zaidan, Cameron said that concerning the security challenges that the Libyan interim government faces, Britain will try to jointly resolve all the obstacles of the democratic process in Libya.
Cameron also said the British people will stand with the Libyans and help deliver the greater security that Libya needs.
Over a year after the civil war that toppled former leader Muammar Gaddafi, Libya still undergoes instability, with the spread of weaponry as a major concern.
