Irakli Garibashvili, the chairman of the Georgian Dream party, is leaving the Georgian Dream party, the Georgian TV channel "TvPirveli" reported this, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
According to the channel, Garibashvili's close circle confirmed the mentioned matter. The information says that he is preparing to take this step in order to engage in business.
The leaders of "Georgian Dream" are formally offering Garibashvili to remain in the team and asking him not to make any statements in amid the backround of the protests.
It is still not known what Garibashvili will decide.
