Germany has agreed to provide Ukraine with more launchers and missiles for Patriot air defense systems, Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said on Telegram, APA reports citing Sky News.
The Ukrainian president described the move as "extremely important for defending Ukrainian lives", after talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz at the NATO summit.
The Ukrainian president is holding meetings with a number of NATO leaders in Vilnius to secure further military aid for his country and to urge the alliance to allow his country membership.
French President Emmanuel Macron said Paris would start supplying long-range cruise missiles, following a similar announcement by Britain.
