“There is no fact confirming that we have any connection with the Russian government,” Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili said in an interview with Deutsche Welle, APA’s local bureau reports.
According to him, Georgia’s policy is based on national interests.
“The whole world is trying to stop Russia. Do you think that if our relations with Russia become aggressive, how will we be able to return our territories? Is there any other way to regain our lands? We are neither a NATO nor a European Union member. Our government’s policy is based on pragmatic, balanced, and realistic models,” Kavelashvili added.
