Georgian police seized a large quantity of pyrotechnics during a search of the opposition "Coalition for Change" office, one of the coalition leaders, Giga Lemonjava, said, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
He noted that police confiscated fireworks and eggs from the office. Lemonjava said that the pyrotechnics were obtained to use against the police during protests.
"I personally state with full responsibility that any items seized from this office, from stationery to fireworks, are used in the process of civil resistance because this is a forced Russian regime," Lemonjava added.
