The leader of Georgia's main opposition coalition, Nika Gvaramia, has been transferred to a detention facility, APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports citing local media.
The Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs has stated that Gvaramia’s condition is stable and there is no need for him to be transferred to a clinic.

Nika Gvaramia, the leader of the main opposition coalition of Georgia, was arrested, Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs released information, APA's Tbilisi correspondent reports.
According to the organization’s statement, Nika Gvaramia, the leader of the "Coalition for Change" has been administratively arrested.
It is reported that a few hours earlier, the police entered the offices of several opposition parties and organizations, conducting searches. Gvaramia was arrested during a search at the office of his "Droa" party due to a physical confrontation with the police.
Additionally, several civil activists have reportedly been detained by the police.
