The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia has deported 41 foreigners, including Azerbaijani citizens. APA’s Tbilisi correspondent reports, citing the Georgian Ministry of Internal Affairs.
It was noted that the deported individuals are citizens of Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, India, Jordan, Iran, Nepal, Pakistan, Russia, the Republic of South Africa, Armenia, and Zimbabwe.
According to existing legislation, persons expelled from the country are prohibited from returning. In June of this year, a total of 124 foreigners were deported from Georgia, and according to data for the first six months of 2025, a total of 525 foreign citizens have been expelled from the country, which is approximately three times more compared to the same period last year.
