On the night of August 13, drones attacked the Gazprom Neftohim Salavat oil refinery in the city of Salavat, in the Republic of Bashkortostan, according to Russian Telegram channels, RBC-Ukraine reports.
Online reports indicate an attack on the refinery in Bashkortostan, which was followed by a fire. Local authorities, meanwhile, reported that drone debris had fallen.
Gazprom Neftohim Salavat is one of the largest oil refining and petrochemical complexes in Russia.
The facility produces automotive gasoline, diesel fuel, fuel oil, polyethylene, and other products.
The plant has been attacked by drones on multiple occasions—notably in September 2025 and on July 14, 2026, when a fire broke out after a strike and oil refining was halted.
