During the five days of protests in Tbilisi, 143 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia were seriously injured, almost 300 people were detained, APA reports citing RIA Novosti.
"As a result of violent and aggressive actions, 143 employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs received various serious injuries… At this stage, 293 people have been administratively detained. Among the detainees, 108 administrative case materials have already been transferred to the Tbilisi City Court, of which 89 cases have been completed," the Ministry of Internal Affairs said in a statement.
