The International Monetary Fund has approved the provision of another loan tranche to Ukraine. The amount will be nearly 700 million dollars, APA reports citing Bloomberg.
An agreement between the Ukrainian government and representatives of the International Monetary Fund has been reached at the staff level. For the final disbursement of funds, this decision still needs to be approved by the Fund’s Board of Directors, whose meeting will take place next month.
An agreement was reached after several weeks of difficult negotiations during a recent International Monetary Fund mission in Kyiv.
