During this year, as a result of the Black Sea Grain Deal, about 33 million tons of Ukrainian grain were sent to countries in need, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said this during a joint press conference with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in Istanbul, APA's Istanbul correspondent reports.
Erdogan noted that he hopes for an extension of the agreement, which expires on July 17.
President Erdogan added that Turkey is in solidarity with the Ukrainian people and wishes for a speedy end to the war.
