Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and U.S. President Donald Trump will attend the G7 summit in France, AFP reports.
According to AFP, the summit will be held in the French city of Evian-les-Bains on June 15-17.
According to the report, sessions involving invited leaders, including Zelenskyy, are scheduled to take place on Tuesday.
According to the report, G7 leaders, together with the Ukrainian President, will seek to develop a unified approach to compel Russia to engage in negotiations aimed at ending the war.
French President Emmanuel Macron stated that Zelenskyy’s participation in the summit is of great importance for restoring consensus within the G7, particularly on the issue of negotiations.
