Terry Davis expresses dissatisfaction with the investigation of March events in Armenia

Davis said the most concerning issue was the police investigation of killing of the peoples during the March events. â€œI think they donâ€™t take enough interest in this issue. Friends in Armenia regularly inform me about the police investigation. Someone said investigative commission would be established for that. However neither any investigation nor the parliament commission deprives the police from its investigation. First of all, the police should identify responsible peoples for the death cases and peoples committed these events and those should receive due penalties. I express my serious concern about the killing of peoples and vandalism when the government of Armenia talks about the peoples detained, convicted or released during the March events. The main issue is the human fate. There is no factor in the democratic society to free police from its duties to hold investigation. I am always asking this question and will ask it againâ€.
