Firstly, the wounded were sent to Foca state hospital, but when the state of 6 servicemen became worse, they were sent to the intensive care unit of Ege University’s Medical Faculty. The state of wounded servicemen reported to pass from serious to normal after the treatment.
According to preliminary information, one serviceman was killed and 4 were wounded as a result of mine explosion. The terrorist attack was planned in advance. The terrorists activated the mine with the help of remote control that was set-up on the road when military vehicle was crossing it. Then they opened the fire on the vehicle.
