Baku-APA. Three workers were killed by flood when a tunnel lid of an unfinished dam in Turkey’s southern province of Adana burst open around noon on Friday, APA reports quoting Xinhua.
The flood was triggered by high water pressure after the tunnel lid of the dam, which was under construction in Kozan district, burst open, Turkish private Dogan news agency reported.
Rescue teams were rushing to the site, it said, adding that more casualties could be found as the rescue work goes on.
