Tbilisi. Nizami Mammadzadeh – APA. Today, Georgia-Turkey Energy conference was held in Tbilisi. According to APA’s Georgian bureau, Georgian PM Nika Gilauri, Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz and other officials attended the conference.
Within the conference, a contract on construction of Borchka-Ahiska power line between Turkey and Georgia was signed.
T.Yildiz also expressed opinion on changing of the course of the Kur River: “I see Kur river in Tbilisi for the first time. I know Kur’s significance for Georgia. We’ll do everything what is necessary between these countries. There will be no problem on changing of course of the Kurâ€.
Georgian Minister of energy and natural Resources Alexander Khetaguri answered this question shortly: “This issue is not on the agendaâ€.
