British PM plotting invasion of Syria

Baku-APA. British Prime Minister David Cameron is apparently planning to impose yet another war in the Middle East, after he called for the United Nations to impose sanctions on Syria, APA reports referring Press TV.

While discussing the future of Syria, Cameron said in a statement that he hoped to see a UN Security Council resolution â€œcondemning the actions of the regime and imposing international sanctions if the regime did not abandon its repression.â€

UK Premier, who failed to see the appalling situation in the post-war Libya, is now explicit about his regime change agenda for Syria. Along with his western allies, Cameron is launching a propaganda campaign to bring down the government of President Bashar al-Assad and replace it with a regime which would be more compatible with Britain’s interests in the region.

UK government that have not learned the lessons of its past interventionist wars is considering to impose one more humanitarian intervention in the Mid East, like the one imposed in Libya to oust Libya’s Muammar Gaddafi. Based on false pretexts supported by a hypocritical UN Resolution, NATO forces attacked Libya, leading to the death of thousands of Libyan civilians, ransacking the country and throwing the country into chaos.

The majority of western media outlets have been cooperating with the regime change narrative of the western governments. Their versions of Syria crisis have lacked questioning or investigation of statistics and information were issued by the organizations and media outlets which are funded or owned by the European, US or Asian allies, the same nations prompting the regime change agenda in the first place.

Unsurprisingly, even a single outlet or newspaper did not report the YouGov poll results, showing majority of Syrians don’t want Assad to resign as the country’s President and don’t want foreign intervention in Syria.

The analysts believe that since the western allies have not achieved a single victory in the wars imposed in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Libya, so why they think Syria could be any different.

Syria has been experiencing unrest since mid-March, with demonstrations being held both against and in favor of President Assad. Hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed in the turmoil.

While the opposition and Western countries accuse Syrian security forces of being behind the killings, Damascus blames outlaws, saboteurs and armed terrorist groups for the violence, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
