Greek PM asks ministers to resign, new coalistion gov’t expecetd shortly

Exiting a cabinet meeting held at the Greek parliament in central Athens, ministers confirmed to Greek national broadcaster NET that the Premier asked members of his government to have their resignations ready to facilitate consultations for the forming of the new government.

On a second day of marathon negotiations held between the outgoing Premier and main opposition leader Antonis Samaras on the formation of the coalition that will push through a vital EU bailout pact to save Greece from default and lead the country to early national elections, a final agreement is expected later on Tuesday, according to sources by both sides.
